Abstract
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is a comprehensive research institution integrating scientific research, species conservation and popular science education, and a well-known scenic spot at home and abroad. The garden covers an area of 1125 hectares, collects more than 13,000 living plants, has 38 special plant areas, and preserves a piece of original tropical rain forest with an area of about 250 hectares. It is the largest botanical garden in China with the largest area, the richest collection of species, and the largest special plant parks in the world, as well as the botanical garden with the largest number of plant species preserved outside the home and the largest number of plant groups displayed to the public. This data set records 500 accession data of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden in 2022, including id, accession number, Chinese name, scientific name, authorship, Chinese genus name, Latin genus name, Chinese family name, Latin family name,collection national, collector and collection date data.
