Combining local meteorological data, phenological data has important value for plant introduction and domestication, and is a routine observation project in general botanical gardens. This dataset contains 100 pieces of phenological information from Wuhan Botanical Garden, sourced from observations of plants in the park from 2020 to 2021. Mainly including introduction registration number, plant number, Latin family name, Chinese family name, Latin genus name, Chinese genus name, Latin name (excluding nominees), Chinese name, Latin name, Latin name (tentative), Chinese name (tentative), phenological event, observation date, observation personnel, cultivation area, editing personnel, etc. The cultivation areas include wild orchards, transitional nurseries, plum gardens, rhododendron gardens, mountain tea gardens, shaded areas, shaded corridors, and the surrounding areas of greenhouses. Phenological events mainly include fruit development, fruit ripening, flower bud sprouting, flower bud enlargement, beginning of defoliation, end flower, blooming, beginning of flowering, leaf discoloration, leaf bud germination, late stage of leaf bud enlargement, leaf bud enlargement, and leaf expansion. This dataset mainly monitors the growth and phenology of plants, which is of great significance for understanding the adaptability of introduced plants in the Wuhan region.
To respect the intellectual property rights, protect the rights of data authors, expand services of the data center, and evaluate the application potential of data, data users should clearly indicate the source of the data and the author of the data in the research results generated by using the data (including published papers, articles, data products, and unpublished research reports, data products and other results). For re-posting (second or multiple releases) data, the author must also indicate the source of the original data.
