In order to improve the quality of plant collection and conservation, the botanical garden has made plant adaptability evaluation a key task and a component of live plant management, mainly including plant distribution range, source information, material type, introduction information, conservation management, stress resistance, ornamental value, etc. From 2020 to 2021, Wuhan Botanical Garden plants obtained a total of 2450 plant information through observation of living plants, including ID number, introduction registration number, plant number, Latin family name, Chinese family name, Latin genus name, Chinese genus name (excluding naming), Chinese name, Latin name (including naming), Latin name (tentative), Chinese name (tentative), planting area, planting location longitude, planting location latitude Editors. The data entry personnel are mainly Xu Wenbin, Zhang Shoujun, and others. The plant distribution areas are in the transition garden, Optics Valley Park, and Orchid Greenhouse of Wuhan Botanical Garden. The dataset involves about 710 species of Pteridophyte, Gymnosperm and Flowering plant (including subspecies). This dataset is of great significance for understanding the preliminary performance and application potential of plants in the park.
