Abstract
The iPlant APP is an intelligent identification application of plant species developed under the auspices of the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a professional version of the flower chaperone. It can identify 15000 wild and cultivated plants, and can also retrieve plant images, plant specimens, and plant chronicles online. 1. Plant recognition: Simply take a photo, confirm the image, or choose to upload the image from the album to quickly recognize it; 2. Plant classification and viewing of plant encyclopedia classification: According to the latest molecular systematics achievements, species families and genera are accompanied by commonly used common names. Click on the recognition results to enter the plant encyclopedia and understand the morphological characteristics and living habits of plants; 3. Library Search Library: Plant images can be searched based on scientific name, Chinese name, location, author, and specimen number information to find the required qualified plant images. 4. Bibliographical search: Relevant content in plant chronicles can be checked based on the scientific name, synonym, Chinese name, etc. of plants. 5. Specimen retrieval: Retrieve corresponding plant specimen information online based on conditions. 6. Specimen identification and identification: Direct photography or photo album selection can quickly identify plant wax leaf specimens. Provide professional services for plant Taxonomy, resource investigation and species protection.
